These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of this site and any orders you place with Bargain Hunt Furniture & Appliances. By using this site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United States to place an order.
Pricing and availability
- Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and may change without notice.
- We make reasonable efforts to display accurate pricing and availability, but errors can occur. If we discover a pricing or availability error after you have placed an order, we will contact you with the option to confirm the corrected order or cancel for a full refund.
- Used items are sold in the condition described and shown in photos. We grade used appliances and furniture in good faith but cannot guarantee perfect condition.
Order acceptance
Submitting an order is an offer to buy. Your order is not accepted until we send a confirmation email and (where applicable) reserve inventory. We may decline or cancel any order for any lawful reason — including stock issues, suspected fraud, or pricing errors. If we cancel a paid order, we will issue a full refund.
Payment
- You may pay online by credit or debit card via Stripe, or pay in person at pickup or delivery (cash, card, or Zelle).
- Card processing fee. Online card payments include a card processing fee shown as a separate line item on the checkout summary, your receipt, and your order confirmation. The fee covers our payment processor's costs. The amount is calculated as a percentage of your order total plus a small per-transaction fee, displayed before you complete checkout. Choosing "Pay on Pickup/Delivery" avoids the online card processing fee.
- Sales tax is calculated and added at checkout in accordance with Indiana law.
Pickup and delivery
Fulfillment terms — including delivery zones, scheduling windows, and pickup hours — are described in our Shipping & Pickup Policy.
Returns and refunds
Return eligibility, time limits, restocking fees, and refund timing are described in our Return Policy. By placing an order you agree to those terms.
Warranty
Used appliances are covered by our store warranty as listed on the product page (typically 7 days from pickup or delivery, unless an extended warranty was purchased). New items carry the manufacturer's warranty. Furniture and items sold "as-is" or "scratch-and-dent" are not covered by a return or replacement warranty unless explicitly stated.
Use of the site
- You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or interfere with its operation.
- All content on the site (including product photos, descriptions, and our logo) is owned by us or used with permission. You may not reproduce it without our consent.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of your use of the site or any order will not exceed the amount you paid for the order in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bargain Hunt Furniture & Appliances, its owners, and employees from any claim arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the site.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict of law principles. Before bringing any formal claim, please contact us first at support@evansvillefurniture.com so we have an opportunity to resolve the issue informally. Any unresolved dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Vanderburgh County, Indiana.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
